This year, we proudly celebrate 75 years of saving lives, a legacy built on compassion, community, and the power of giving.
Since opening our doors on June 19, 1951, LifeStream has grown from a single blood bank into a vital lifeline for hospitals, patients, and families across Southern California.
Over the decades, we’ve expanded donor centers, introduced advanced blood collection technologies, and built a strong network of mobile drives, making it easier than ever for donors to give the gift of life. From launching platelet and plasma programs to supporting over 80 hospitals, each milestone reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of our community.
Today, that mission continues, powered by the generosity of donors and the impact of every life saved.
