A 56er is a whole blood donor who returns to donate on their first eligible donation date, 56 days after their previous whole blood donation.
Returning on Day 56 helps maintain a strong blood supply for local hospitals while creating a habit that can save even more lives throughout the year.

We’ll send you an email with your first eligible donation date.
Step 3: Return on Day 56
Donate whole blood at any LifeStream donor center on the exact eligibility date listed in your email.
Step 4: Receive Your Reward
After your donation has been processed and verified, you’ll receive a $56 Prepaid Virtual Visa by email.

Yes. To qualify, your donation must be completed on the Day 56 eligibility date provided in your 56ers email.
Yes. Your qualifying Day 56 donation must be completed at a LifeStream donor center to receive the $56 Prepaid Virtual Visa.
Yes. Your previous whole blood donation may have been made at either a mobile blood drive or a donor center. The only requirement is that your qualifying Day 56 donation takes place at a donor center.
If your nearest donor center is closed on your eligibility date, please contact us so we can schedule you for the day immediately following for target date.
Yes. Your previous whole blood donation must have been successfully completed, and your Day 56 donation must also be successfully completed to qualify for the $56 Prepaid Virtual Visa.
If your Day 56 donation is not successfully completed, you will not qualify for the $56 Prepaid Virtual Visa offer. Exceptions can not be granted.
Eligible donors will receive redemption instructions via email at the primary email address associated with their LifeStream donor account once their qualifying donation has been processed and verified. Please make sure we have your most current and correct address on file.
Your $56 Prepaid Virtual Visa redemption link is valid for 30 days from the date it is emailed to you. If the link is not redeemed within that 30-day period, it will expire and cannot be reissued, resent, or replaced. Please redeem your gift card reward per the terms provided by the issuer.
No. The 56ers Program is available only for qualifying and successful whole blood donations completed at a LifeStream donor center. Therapeutic whole blood donations, plasma donations, platelet donations, double red cell donations, and other specialty procedures are not eligible for this offer.
