Meet Ontario Reign’s ‘Kingston,’ win hockey tickets and more!
LifeStream Blood Bank and the Ontario Reign will assist local patients via a shared goal of increasing the community blood supply with a co-produced event Thursday, March 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at LifeStream’s Ontario Donor Center, 1959 E. Fourth St. (at Vineyard).
The Reign’s mascot, “Kingston,” will
be on hand along with the Reign cheer squad and ice crew. The team will furnish
a Reign-themed backdrop for photos of life-saving blood donors.
Also scheduled to participate and
provide more fun and surprises on Reign Day at LifeStream are Chick-fil-A, Dave
and Buster’s and Crème ice cream.
Blood donors must be at least 15 years
of age (15- and 16-year-olds must present a signed parental consent form; forms
are available at the center and at LStream.org); be in good health, weigh at
least 110 pounds, and present current photo ID.
Community blood supplies remain
perilously low, especially group O blood, which are the “go-to” red cells for
first responders and emergency personnel.

Thursday, March 21 are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome; appointments
may be made by calling 800-879-4484 or visiting LStream.org.
